As I write a historcal novel, usually, I only work on minor revisions and complete my daily target of a set number of words every day. However, on the 1st March I wrote a crucial point in the story then I decided it needed to be rewritted. Yesterday I wrestled with it trying to make sure the reader would understand the hero’s motivation. Today, I rewrote it again and am satisfied with the result. However, I am three days behind with my target. To catch up I need time to write more words than usual for three days

I have finished aranging all my books – at least two hundred – according to subject. Cookery, gardening, alternative health etc. Also novels I will re-read, Shakespeare’s comple works, Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, Poetry books, Mythology and more. I have also arranged my collection of historical non-fiction in chronological order. Until now I spent ages hunting for a particular book. I’ve turned over a new leaf and won’t have that problem again.
